JEE
The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) is a nationwide exam conducted for admission to various undergraduate engineering courses such as B.Tech, B.E., and B.Arch. etc. at some of India's most prestigious institutions, including IITS, NITs, and IIITs.
Since 2019, JEE Main has been conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). Prior to that, the exam was administered by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) until 2018.
JEE Main scores are used for admission to NITs, IIITs, and other Centrally Funded Technical Institutions (CFTIs) through the Central Seat Allocation Board, provided the candidate has secured at least 75% marks in the 12th class examination or is in the top 20 percentile of their respective Board. For SC/ST and PwD candidates, the qualifying mark is 65%.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) conducts the JEE Main exam in two sessions - January and April. Generally, the NTA releases the Joint Entrance Exam (Main) Notification in the month of October or November. For more details, visit: https://jeemain.nta.nic.in/
The JEE Advanced exam is conducted by the IITs for admission into undergraduate and Integrated M.Sc. courses at IITs and ISM Dhanbad. Only the top 2,50,000 performers of JEE Main, who also fall within the top 20 percentile of their respective 12th Board examinations, are eligible to appear for JEE Advanced. Admission to these institutes is solely based on the performance in JEE Advanced. A candidate can attempt JEE (Advanced) maximum of two times in two consecutive years. NEET
The NEET (UG) is India's primary, mandatory entrance exam for undergraduate medical courses like MBBS and BDS. Besides them NEET scores are used for BHMS, BAMS, BSMS, and BUMS courses. This exam is conducted annually by the National testing agency(NTA). It covers 180 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) in 3 hours 20 minutes, covering Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.

Olympiad
The International Science Olympiads (ISOs) are a series of annual global competitions in various areas of science. These competitions are designed for the top 4-6 high school students from each participating country, selected through national-level Science Olympiads. Exceptions include the International Linguistic Olympiad (IOL), which allows two teams per country; the International Olympiad in Informatics (IOI), which permits two teams from the host country; and the International Junior Science Olympiad (IJSO), which is aimed at junior secondary students. To date, there are 12 such ISOs:
